Huong Nguyen

Huong Nguyen is an established scholar in higher education with a strong focus on strategic research leadership and female career development. She founded and led iVANet-RDP (https://www.facebook.com/ivanetrdp) an online community Researcher Development Program that has connected 36 successful PhD-qualified Vietnamese with thousands of young Vietnamese research students from different genders, disciplines, ages, career stages, and from around the world. Her passion about women empowerment and capacity building originates from her early professional experience working as one of the youngest female Deans in Vietnam at the age of 27 (2005 - 2007). Huong Nguyen is currently a Senior Policy Analyst at the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean, the sole specialized institute of the United Nations system with the mission to contribute to the improvement of higher education in member States.
