- Key issues in international survey research
- B. Sebastian Reiche and Anne-Wil Harzing, 2007 - In this paper, we make an attempt to explore these issues in more detail and offer possible solutions to address them. While cross-cultural investigation is not limited to survey research but includes a range of qualitative methods of data collection, we focus our discussion on the collection of international and cross-cultural data through questionnaires. We begin by identifying key methodological challenges in cross-cultural survey research. Subsequently, we describe several research practices to cope with these challenges, structuring our discussion along the various stages of the research process.
Hofstede and Globe cultural dimensions
You want to use the Hofstede or Globe cultural dimensions in your study? You don't want to spend ages finding them and typing them up? We have done that for you and included them in an Excel spreadsheet. You can download it here.
