Local and international travel

Getting about in England may be different from what you are used to. Generally speaking, means of transport (including "public" transport) are privatised in England. Among other things, this means that you will have to deal with a lot of different train, bus, and air travel companies to go from A to B (and even more so if you want to go via C).
